Today I viewed the Webinar on Apps in Action for Communication Disorders. There are so many wonderful Apps available for students with autism and other communication disorders. As I was viewing, I couldn’t help but reflect on the many students in my classes when I was a student who would have benefited so much from this technology.
I was particularly drawn to the Language Development Apps for younger students. The Apps: Which Go Together and Which Does Not Belong both looked to be very useful. Pictello is an amazing App and as you stated has so many wonderful uses.
I really look forward to the time when the ipod touches are more readily available for students and teachers in our school system.
Have a great week-end!
Thanks Angela - glad you liked Pictello!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could write a grant and get iPod Touches and Apps in your school. And oh! They have never had an Apple Distinguished Educator from Newfoundland!...you could be the first..and/or Carl:)
I was thinking about my students with autism who would benefit from these apps as well. So many great ideas out there!
